We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to. Please send any data protection questions to the email address above.
2. Overview
This privacy policy explains, in line with Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which personal data are processed when you visit this website. We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics and do not build user profiles. When the pages load, content from the following services is also loaded: Name.com (website builder) (details below).
3. Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare)
This website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages and the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. On every request your browser transmits technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser and operating system details. Cloudflare processes these data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR) to deliver the pages and protect them against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and quickly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not store server log files ourselves.
Cloudflare may also process data in the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR); the EU Standard Contractual Clauses of the data processing agreement apply in addition.
4. Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure the number of page views, the pages viewed, the referrer, browser and device type, and the country of origin. The service sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no profiles; the IP address is used only to determine the country and is not stored. For this, a script is loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in anonymous usage statistics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For transfers to the USA, see the hosting section.
5. Website builder (Name.com)
These pages were created with the website builder of Name.com, Inc. (Denver, USA). Stylesheets, scripts, images and fonts are loaded from its servers (sitebuilder.name.tools) when a page is opened; Name.com thereby receives your IP address and browser details. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in displaying the website correctly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data may be processed in the USA.
To display pages faster, the site stores the loaded fonts in your browser's local storage (no personal data). This storage is technically necessary for the display (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive); you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
6. Links to Google Maps
The home page links to our locations on Google Maps. No map is embedded: only when you click a link does Google Maps open (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), and its privacy policy then applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Fonts
The fonts used are loaded from our own web space. No connection is made to servers of Google or other providers.
8. Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies. In your browser's local storage the site keeps only the website builder's font cache (see above; technically necessary). If Cloudflare shows a security check, a technically necessary cookie (cf_clearance) may be set (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive). No cookie banner is therefore needed.
9. Contact by email
When you email us, we process your email address, your name and the content of your message to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Messages are stored with our email provider, which acts as our processor. We delete them once they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations (in particular for business correspondence) apply.
10. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise them, simply write to info@comppro-it.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the Member State where you live. The authority responsible for us is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), Falk Miksa utca 9–11, 1055 Budapest, naih.hu.
You are not obliged to provide data to us; without the technically necessary connection data, however, the website cannot be displayed. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
